You Are the Section Leader
You are not the whole choir. You are the person who anchors your section — your Squad of three to five — through the weeks of the Pull Up campaign. You do not have to have all the answers. You have to show up, make the call when somebody goes quiet, pray your Squad by name every day, and keep the plot when things get hard.
Everything on this page is designed to make that job doable. Bookmark it. Come back to it every week.
The Coach's Playbook
What a Coach is and is not. Your Squad roster. The first Huddle agenda (30 min). The weekly Huddle standing agenda (20 min). The four wins by Week 6. Escalation pathway. And the Coach's Prayer Card to keep in your Bible.
Coach One-Pager
Distilled from the Playbook. What a Coach is and is not, the first Huddle in 30 minutes, the three-line report template, and the escalation pathway. Print it. Fold it into your Bible.
Coach Kickoff Training Deck
The 16-slide deck the Pastor uses to train Coaches privately before Launch Sunday. Covers the thesis, the framework, the 8-week structure, the weekly rhythm, first Huddle walkthrough, escalation, and the Coach’s Prayer. Downloadable so Coaches can re-read any time.
The Chapter Reader
Twelve chapters from the book, formatted for reading on any device. Chapters 1–5 abbreviated for foundational grounding. Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 21, 29 in full for the practical work. Send members a link when they need a specific chapter.
The 8-Week Campaign Calendar
Every week’s Sunday theme, Squad Huddle topic, member touch on their Three, and Coach report focus. Launch (Week 1) to Event Day / Pull Up Sunday (Week 8). Printable PDF included — post it in your Huddle spot.
The Pull Up Zone — Weekly Focus
The devotional companion to the Campaign Calendar. Each week: BIG IDEA, anchor Scripture, why the component matters, a practice, and a closing prayer. Campaign-synced. Text your Squad the Zone link on Monday, refer to it in Huddle, celebrate it on Sunday.
Personality Assessment
Every member takes the 30-question Pull-Up Personality Self-Assessment. Score shows on the spot. Coach reviews the results with each member so they know their primary and secondary style.
Name Your Three
Every member names three specific people in their oikos and logs weekly touches. Private to their device. Coach knows the count, not the names.
Story Worksheet
Every member drafts their BC-MET-SINCE testimony in three lengths using the guided six-step wizard. The 30-second version is the one they carry into every conversation.
To the Coordinator · Every Tuesday
Text these three lines. That is all.
Know the tiers.
You do not have to solve everything. When in doubt, raise it.
You handle it. Member missed a Huddle. Member stuck on their testimony. Member unsure how to invite. A theological question you can answer from the book.
Response: call, text, walk them through the Chapter Reader. No escalation.
Loop in the Coordinator. Member silent 10+ days. Member's Three has stalled. Member wants to bring a guest and needs logistics support. A theological question you cannot answer.
Response: three-line report + one extra sentence. Coordinator picks it up within 48 hours.
Call the Pastor directly. Member in crisis. Member's Three has experienced a loss or crisis. Member wants to make a spiritual decision NOW. Anything involving abuse, addiction, or urgent care.
Response: text the Pastor within 24 hours. Do not wait for the next Huddle. Pastoral care is not your job.
